Mid / Senior Fullstack Developer — Prague (Hybrid, Contract)

For a global pharmaceutical company pioneering drug discovery through advanced computational chemistry — we are looking for a Mid or Senior Fullstack Developer. The client's Prague team works at the intersection of science and software, building and integrating platforms used directly in the research and development of novel chemical compounds.

You will be supporting the integration of existing applications with the Schrödinger LiveDesign platform and contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of a workflow engine that applies statistical and cheminformatics methods to identify promising drug candidates.

What you'll be doing:

• Integrating existing applications with the Schrödinger LiveDesign platform


• Maintaining and enhancing a cheminformatics workflow engine


• Designing and building REST APIs and backend services in Python


• Developing frontend features using VueJS and JavaScript


• Managing cloud infrastructure on AWS with Terraform and Docker


• Automating CI/CD pipelines via GitHub and GitHub Actions

What we're looking for:

• Solid hands-on experience with Python and JavaScript


• Practical knowledge of PostgreSQL and database design


• Experience building and consuming REST APIs


• Ability to work independently in an agile, cross-functional team


• Nice to have: VueJS, AWS, Docker, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and a background in cheminformatics, bioinformatics, or scientific software development
