DevOps Engineer — Prague (Hybrid, Contract)

For a global pharmaceutical company operating at the forefront of oncology research — we are looking for a DevOps Engineer. The client's team builds and maintains a clinical AI platform used directly in oncology care, where infrastructure reliability has real impact.

You will be owning deployment automation, cloud infrastructure management, and release processes across the platform — ensuring stable, scalable environments for both development and production.

What you'll be doing:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform


• Building and managing CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployments and releases


• Managing cloud infrastructure, environments, configurations, and platform scalability on AWS and/or Azure


• Automating operational, deployment, and monitoring processes


• Supporting release planning, deployment execution, rollback strategies, and environment validation


• Monitoring infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity


• Implementing infrastructure security controls, backup, and disaster recovery procedures

What we're looking for:

• Hands-on experience with Terraform (mandatory)


• Proven track record building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines


• Solid AWS and/or Azure cloud administration experience


• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms


• Scripting and automation skills in Python or similar


• Nice to have: Kubernetes, Docker, security and compliance controls, experience supporting AI or data platforms
