AWS Data Engineer — Prague (Hybrid, Contract)

For a global organization scaling its cloud data and analytics capabilities — we are looking for an AWS Data Engineer. The team is building out modern data infrastructure on AWS to support analytics, machine learning, and reporting across the business.

You will be designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines on AWS, working closely with data science and platform teams to deliver reliable, scalable data solutions using tools like Databricks and Dataiku.

What you'll be doing:

• Designing and building data pipelines on AWS using Glue, Lambda, and Step Functions


• Working with Redshift, S3, and Sagemaker to deliver scalable data solutions


• Processing large-scale datasets using Spark and PySpark


• Deploying and managing infrastructure as code with Terraform and CloudFormation


• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins


• Collaborating with data science and platform teams using Databricks and Dataiku


• Documenting solutions and processes in line with SDLC standards

What we're looking for:

• Relevant experience in data engineering


• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, IAM, Redshift, Sagemaker, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch)


• Experience working with platforms such as Databricks and Dataiku


• Proficiency in Python or Java, SQL (Redshift preferred), Jenkins, CloudFormation, Terraform, Git, and Docker


• 2-3 years of experience with Spark / PySpark


• Nice to have: knowledge of DSCS and DPTM
